Real estate carbon emission contributes to nearly 50% of annual CO2 emissions in the world. Building operations are responsible for 27% annually, while building materials and construction are responsible for an additional 20%. Real estate developers and financial institution are working towards becoming “greener” by reducing the overall carbon emissions from buildings and providing green finance to promote sustainable and climate-friendly solutions to complement Taiwan’s national agenda and international standard. We, as a group of passionate problem solvers from different fields such as social science, business and engineering would like to provide an integrated ESG solution that utilizes AI technology for autopiping and international ESG guidelines to support real estate developers on the path towards sustainable development and attract more green capital.
